How It Works

  1. 1

Select your employment type. Private employees use SSS; government employees use GSIS. Minimum wage earners are automatically exempted from withholding tax.

  2. 2

Choose your payroll period — semi-monthly (twice a month) or monthly — to see your per-paycheck net.

  3. 3

Enter your monthly basic pay. This is your contractual salary before any allowances or deductions.

  4. 4

Add taxable and non-taxable allowances separately. De minimis benefits like rice allowance and transportation are non-taxable up to BIR limits.

  5. 5

Enter overtime and night differential hours per paycheck if applicable. The calculator uses Labor Code multipliers (125% for regular day OT) and the standard 10% night diff premium.

  6. 6

SSS is computed using the 2024 salary credit table (employee share is 4.5% of your monthly salary credit, maximum ₱1,350 at MSC ₱30,000). GSIS is 9% of basic salary.

  7. 7

PhilHealth employee share is 2.5% of basic salary, minimum ₱250 and maximum ₱2,500 per month.

  8. 8

Pag-IBIG employee share is 2% of salary, capped at ₱100 per month.

  9. 9

Taxable income is your gross pay minus SSS or GSIS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and non-taxable benefits. The TRAIN Law monthly tax table is applied to get your withholding tax.

  10. 10

Your net pay is gross pay minus all deductions: SSS or GSIS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax.
